ROADS TO POLLUTION: BRAZIL´S AQUATIC BIODIVERSITY AFFECTED BY TRUCK LEAKS
نویسندگان
چکیده
Roads are responsible for various negative impacts on terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity. However, the effects of roads used by vehicles biodiversity have been little explored. In this study, based reports obtained from digital media technical reports, we provide an overview pollution in Brazilian ecosystems caused leakage trucks. We found 73 truck leaks that reached waterbodies, polluting them with fuel, pesticides other substances. Pollution events deaths crustaceans, fish, vertebrates. According to data our search, fish were most impacted group, records at least 20 tons killed a single spill. Measures must be adopted prevent entry pollutants into waterbodies through leaks.

Area-Specification affected by Industrial-Mineral Pollution in Isfahan Province
Air pollution is a consequence of human activities, especially in the period after industrial revolution, which has many (direct and indirect) effects on the human and the environment around him. Among different kinds of pollutions, those related to industries and mines are much more dangerous. Therefore, it is necessary to identify these pollutions and specify them so as to reduce the harmful ...

The most pervasive threats to biological diversity are directly or indirectly linked to the road networks. For this reason, over the last few decades, interest in the study of the ecological characteristics of the edges associated with roads has increased. This work aims to investigate the effect of roads as a humaninduced disturbance on the plant diversity in two managed Mediterranean forest s...

(Mountain biodiversity in Brazil). The high species richness and diversity found in tropical montane habitats are often related to: 1) an effect of climatic and geological history on biotic evolution; 2) the various environmental impacts on species adaptation mechanisms; and 3) the continuous dispersal of fauna and flora in time. However, little is known about how these factors shaped species r...
